LED Light Therapy

The delivery of light energy to treat acne, anti-aging and pain. The application of specific wavelengths of light energy to tissue to obtain therapeutic benefits.  The energy delivered is then used to improve cellular performance.  For acne,  the application will destroy the acne causing bacteria – not only clearing up existing blemishes, but preventing future breakouts before they happen.  For anti-aging, the wavelengths stimulate fibroblasts to increase collagen and elastin to help reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, while experiencing an improvement in texture quality and smoothness. Dermaplaning

Dermaplaning is a physical exfoliation procedure. It requires the use of a sterile, surgical scalpel to gently “shave” the skin’s surface, removing the top-most layer of dead skin along with fine, vellus hair.   The procedure can be performed monthly with no downtime post-treatment.

Physical exfoliation triggers the cell regeneration process and allows products to better penetrate skin.  Dermaplaning is also excellent to rid the face of excess fine hairs which can often accumulate dirt and oil. Contrary to popular belief, vellus hairs, as opposed to terminal hair, will not grow back thicker or darker. Exfoliation of dead cells along with the removal of fine hairs results in healthier, brighter skin that has a smoother look and feel.
